Angie Harmon is an American model and actress, she has been featured in a variety of films and TV series over the years. In the beginning she was a professional model and when she gained international recognition, she made her foray into acting. She started her acting career in 1995 with the television series 'Baywatch Nights'. She also does voice-acting as well as voice-overs for the animated film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". Harmon decided to quit working in TV shows and concentrate solely on films in 2000. Harmon returned to television after having appeared in several films. She was one of the only actresses to pose discreetly nude in an Allure magazine.' As detective Jane Rizzoli, she has appeared on TNT's 'Rizzoli & Isles. In her role as Detective Jane Rizzoli she has been well-received, and has received numerous awards. Angie Harmon is nominated and given an award for exceptional work.
